Betty Catron, 90, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 6:35 P.M. August 24, 2017 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born April 12, 1927 in Jefferson County, Illinois to Delbert & Viva (Snow) Harlow. She married Cloyd Catron and he preceded her in death.
Betty Catron is survived by her children, Barbara Kramer and husband, Gaylord of Hartford City, Indiana, Linda Dejournett and husband, Gary of Valley Center, California, and Larry Catron and wife, Veleta of Mount Vernon, Illinois; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Lila Mae Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty Catron was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Huston Hunnicutt; granddaughter, Tonya Hunnicutt; sister, Mary Perkins; and brothers, Lincoln Snow and Arnold Snow, who was killed in action during World War II.
Betty was a very kind, loving, and generous person. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
