Jack W. Randall, 77, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 6:09 P.M. June 24, 2017 while fishing at his lake in rural Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born December 4, 1939 in Decatur, Texas to parents Harvey W. and Grace (McGee) Randall. He married Ann Ward on March 21, 1959 and she survives.
In addidion to his wife of 58 years he is survived by his two daughters, Susan Rumburg and husband Steve of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Kim Harris and husband Greg of Williamsburg, Virginia; five grandchildren, Austin Rumburg, Nathan Harris, Grace Harris, Abbie Harris, and Hannah Harris; brother, Larry Randall of Mount Vernon, Illinois; two brothers-in-law, Richard Ward and wife Judy of Texas and John Ward and wife Barbara of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother, Ronnie Wade Randall
Jack owned and operated R&R Concrete for several years as well as Enviro-Tech Service, both of Mount Vernon. He was a member of Marion County Church of Christ where he served as President of the Board of Directors. He loved God and his church, his wife, and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Jack loved telling stories and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 30, 2017 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Dwight Butler officiating.
Inurnment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
