Alice M. Sigrist, 81, of Mt. Vernon, formerly of Salem, died 9:40 a.m. Nov. 6, 2016, at Lavender Ridge in Mt. Vernon.
She was born Nov. 16, 1934, in Kinmundy, the daughter of Ener Otis Zimmer and Hattie Margaret (French) Zimmer. She was married to Leon Theodore Sigrist of Mt. Vernon on Nov. 8, 1955, in Mt. Vernon.
She was a retired office manager with Salem Medical Center and a member of the Christian faith.
She is survived by children, Rudy Sigrist and wife Julie of Hillsboro, Ohio, Kim Wood and husband David of Mt. Vernon, Nick Sigrist and wife Linda of Algonguin, Pamela Ehlers and husband Richard of Maineville, Ohio, and Lance Sigrist and wife Teresa of Mavern, Ark.; grandchildren, Courtney Streine, Brett Sigrist, Zachary Fry, Jordan Sigrist, Kylie Sigrist, Melissa Pond, Ashley Ehlers, Sarah Hernandez, Landon Sigrist and Taylor Sigrist; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Raine, Lily Straine, Cameron, Tyler and Brayden Pond, Ari and Anastasia Hernandez and Shelby and Marley Sigrist.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tanya Sigrist.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Roger-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem with Pastor Tracy Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery in Salem.
Visitation will be held after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
